The 2016 Authorised Person’s Association 2016 Professional Development Seminar finished with a real blast. It was so unfortunate that the zoo was evacuated half way through the morning session of the final day of the seminar. The management of the Zoo have been very embarrassed by the events of that day, but these were well beyond their control.
We have rescheduled the final day to be held on Friday 12 August 2016 at the Adelaide Zoo.
There will be no charge for this day for those who had registered to be at the seminar on Friday 27 May 2016 when we were evacuated.
The APA is also having a dinner on the Thursday night commencing at 6.30 pm at the Zoo. This dinner will be free to all those who had previously registered for the Friday of the seminar. This promises to be a great night of networking and hopefully will be an enticement for those members from the country to come down and again be part of the seminar.
For those who were not part of the evacuated Friday session and would like to come to the dinner and/or the Friday Session you are welcome to register and attend.
We realize that not all of those that attended the Friday session will be able to make it to the rescheduled 12 August event, so in this case we encourage you to transfer your attendance to another officer to attend the event.
All those wishing to attend must register their intentions on the attached registration form and forward it to Phil Herrmann.
At the end of the seminar the APA will be holding their AGM, which is expected to last no more than 30 minutes.
