The Local Government Authorised Persons Association (APA) in conjunction with Workforce Hire Pty Ltd presents a comprehensive investigation workshop known as PRIME. The workshop is presented by a team of nationally qualified investigators and trainers that share almost 200 years of collective investigation experience within SAPOL.
The two day workshop will lead attendees through a series of sessions aimed at providing a set of principles that will support the investigation process. The workshop has a practical focus which will require each participant to demonstrate statement taking and interviewing techniques, evidence gathering and culminating in an active court trials where participants will deliver evidence.
A 12 month investigation support line will be provided to all participants should they require any investigation tips and strategies to assist them within their duties.
An evaluation of the program has already been conducted and its content and overall structure has shown it to be practical and appropriate for APA members.
With the recent introduction of the Local Nuisance and Litter Control Act 2016, and the requirements of Council's Authorised Officers to undertake extensive investigations for breaches within this Act, or if you have staff who are required to interview or investigate breaches of any other Legislation, this training is essential for them.
