Awards
Each year we hold the annual Authorised Persons' Association Annual Awards. These awards are always a highlight of the seminar as they are an opportunity for management and teammates to recognise and reward the excellent work happening in the regulatory world. The awards are presented at the seminar dinner at the Adelaide Hill Convention Centre on the evening of the 24 May 2018.

The award criteria and nomination form can be found here. Nominations close at 5pm on Friday 11 May 2018. Take time form your day to reflect on the projects, investigations, and initiatives your team have achieved this year. Do you have a new or experienced team member who continually excels? Please make sure you nominate an officer or team from your Council for an award. In addition to the recognition the winners will receive across the industry there are some great prizes on offer!!
Importantly, many of our previous State winners of the Animal Management Officer of the Year award have gone on to win the National award, which is great promotion for Local Government in South Australia.
Get Involved
In addition, we are seeking interest from Councils within South Australia to provide a short presentation of successes or initiatives achieved in recent times relating to any aspect of Regulatory Services/General Inspectorate area.
We will share these experiences and ideas among the 120+ attendees via a short 15 minute presentation to provide new ideas for those within Local Government, from the successes of other Councils. If you or your Council has introduced a new idea, program or initiative which has in some way assisted in achieving the desired outcome, we want to hear from you. Please email brenton.thomass@portenf.sa.gov.au to register your interested where we can allocate a 15 minute session within the two day seminar to share your ideas.
